The Association of Bridal Consultants
The Association of Bridal Consultants has been the professional organization for the wedding industry since 1981 and has over 4,000 members in 26 countries on six continents. The Association of Bridal Consultants is a membership service organization, designed to increase awareness of the wedding business and improve the professionalism of members.
The American Academy of Wedding Professionals
AAWP's professional wedding-planning membership program is based on 15 years, hands-on experience in the wedding industry and years of research. The founder, Deborah McCoy, has written four bridal-reference books and has appeared on Good Morning America, Sally Hessy Raphael and The Rick Sanchez Show. During the course of her career, she was etiquette columnist for For the Bride and Wedding Pages Magazine.
Coordinators Corner
Coordinators' Corner is the creation of Nancy Tucker, President of An Event Extraordinaire, Inc. in Richmond, Va. Coordinators' Corner is a community web site dedicated to providing wedding consultants, from novices to experienced professionals, a place where they can communicate with and learn from other professionals in the wedding planning and event consulting industry.
